Where It All Began
As a little girl, I believed flowers held magic, and honestly, I still do! I'd spend afternoons crushing petals into jars of water, pretending to make perfume. In my teenage years, I'd rub mango peels on my skin, exfoliate with ocean sand, and wear river mud like a second skin.  Skincare wasn’t a routine, it was playful, instinctive, and deeply connected to nature.

Beauty Got Complicated
As I grew older, the beauty industry became louder. Slick packaging and impossible promises replaced simplicity. I tried to keep up, but it only led to breakouts, sensitivity, and disappointment. I stopped wearing perfume, even though I grew up surrounded by French fragrance (my mum worked at From Paris With Love). Nothing felt real anymore.

The Quiet Beginning
I never set out to become a skincare formulator. But in the early 2000s, with a few borrowed books and a desire to make something natural for my own skin, I made my first cream. Some water, some oils, a little emulsifier, and a pair of hand beaters, I still remember the moment it turned into a rich, creamy lotion. It was instant alchemy, and I was hooked.

Finding My Way Back to Nature

Since then, I’ve studied organic skincare, cosmetic chemistry, and natural perfumery. I’ve written The Beauty Mix, explored plant alchemy, and grown many of the ingredients we now use. I didn’t choose this path, it unfolded, gently and honestly,

like the seasons.

From Fixing to Honouring

After two decades, I’ve unlearned what beauty should look like, and instead, fallen in love with what’s real...laughter lines, weathered skin, the glow that comes from living fully. I stopped trying to ‘fix’ myself, and began to honour myself instead.

What We Create
We grow many of our own ingredients, we harvest with care, and formulate slowly, not because it’s trendy, but because it’s true. Every product is made to support the skin own wisdom. Not to strip or correct,

but to nourish, soften, and nurture.

Hello Roses

Then came the roses. Unexpected and all-consuming. I researched, studied, joined associations, and visited gardens—searching for the perfect varieties to make rose oil, rose water, and rosehip extract.
With Andy, we planted them all. That was four years ago. Since then, the garden—and my devotion—have only grown. Each October, when the first blooms appear, I still feel that same thrill. The learning hasn’t stopped. Neither has the love.

This moment is ours.
